Productivity Killers
4 unfortunate, terrible and exhausting things happened today.

1. Intense heat

From where I am at, it's high summer. Our temperatures range from 33 to 35 degrees Celsius with a heat index of around 39-40.

That is terribly hot. It's probably the hottest we could get all year round. I've been sweating like crazy the whole day.

2. Rotational Brownouts

Every summer here in Cagayan de Oro, we experience rotational brownouts. I'm not really sure why. I don't know much about it. But, it may be because all the power we have couldn't accommodate everyone or maybe they are just trying to fix some things with the power grid.

Either way, this daily three hour brownout is stressing me out big time.

3. Distractions

I work at home. For those of you who have been doing remote work, I'm sure you are very familiar with the usual distractions we experience on a daily basis when we are working from our own house.

Plus, we have 2 kids here. You know how they work. They were designed to get everyone's attention.

4. Colds

I always experience this. It's kind of my "regular sickness."

Add all these things up.

That leaves me having such a terrible headache as this day is about to end.

I need to be productive to still need to get some things done. But, my productivity is being killed by these unfortunate circumstances.

These productivity killers are hard to avoid. There's nothing much I could do to change the situation too. The only thing I could do is to hope that things would get better tomorrow.

How about you? Do you have your own productivity killers that keep you from being on top of your game on such a busy work day like this?
