Making Yourself Miserable
If you try to delight the undelightable, you've made yourself miserable for no reason. - Seth Godin.

Seth Godin said it right. If you want to make yourself more miserable, try to delight the undelightable. Try to please the people who are hard to please.

This might seem like a silly advice. But, it is a great reminder. We all do that. We love to please those who are not always happy about what we do.

The result is we end up getting frustrated, disappointed and yes - miserable.

However, on the flip side if you continue to just do your best work and focus on those people who support and believe in you, that is where the opportunity for tremendous growth happens.

You cannot avoid the negative people. But, you can stop wasting your time pleasing them. Just carefully consider their criticism and move on.

Do yourself a favor and stop making it miserable all the time.
