Missing News App on iOS 9? Here's How To Fix It

iOS 9 has just been released. It's a fantastic update with lots of improvements under the hood.

It promised to make your iOS device faster and more efficient. And, it comes with new stock apps like Wallet and News.

However, a lot of users are reporting that the News app is missing in their new iOS 9.

Don't panic. Your download was not corrupted or something. The News app is just hidden.

But why?

The News app is US only at the moment. Apple's website says it is coming to more countries soon though.

If your region is outside the US, iOS 9 will hide this app. Just switch your region to United States and it should appear.

Here is how you can do it:

Go to Settings > General > Language & Region.

In the Region Formats section, change your Region to United States.

You might need a reboot and you should see your News app somewhere on your home screen.
