Recovery period

The past 2 days was quite a physical struggle for me.

I was sick... again.

This time I am kind of sure what caused it.

I was overtraining myself.

That didn't mean I lifted 1,000 pounds in the gym.

I just worked out straight for one week and I never gave my body enough time to recover. Having only 4-5 hours sleep a day didn't help either.

I learned that the hard way. Overtraining is definitely a dangerous line to cross. I absolutely hated how I felt for the past few days. I suffered from it.

This time I would listen to my body and take better care of it.

I am the type of person who can push myself to the limit. But, I should at least understand that my body can only do so much.

This week, I'd be spending more time for rest.

My body deserves it.
